ySense Referral Code & Review Singapore
Last updated on 9th May 2023, Tuesday
I shared my ySense Referral Code previously but I have decided to remove it now.
This is because I am not recommending it.

Why I Do Not Recommend ySense:
At first, I felt that the surveys and earnings were not good enough through the app, since I only attempted 4 and got paid for 1 survey. Then, they had ridiculous criteria when I contacted customer support, with regards to the attempted surveys that did not get paid.
Recently when I tried to log back into my account after a few months, I realised that my ysense account was deactivated! Did not make sense to me since I only had one survey done, yet this was their reply “After careful manual review of your account by our Compliance Team in cooperation with our Advertisers, this account was deactivated due to violation of program terms with respect to the Surveys provided by our site and/or our partner sites.” Tried to make sense of what they are claiming but they did not bother to reply further.
Therefore, if you are going to try them out, do be wary that your account might get deactivated for no reason at all, even if you never use it.
My Initial Review of ySense App and Website:
After attempting both the app and the website, this is what I experienced.
Though I did read somewhere that you can receive $2 when you hit $5, if you used a referral code/ link to join. I am not sure if it’s accurate, as I downloaded and joined through the app, and I am not even sure I can reach $5. π
I have seen plenty of good reviews about ySense, which was why I joined initially. Especially since I was trying to find another surveys app that is good on mobile, because I prefer to do surveys through my phone, rather than my laptop/ PC. It’s easier as I can do so anytime I wanted to.
ySense iOS App:
However, I am not impressed with the ySense ios app so far. This is because I have done a few surveys so far, and finished 4 surveys, but I have only been paid for 1. The other 3 surveys that I finished all ended with a technical error that says something went wrong and their engineers will look into it.
That vaguely reminds me of the errors I received when I did Peanut Labs’ surveys, which was really infuriating. As you spent about 30 mins trying to finish a survey, and when you thought it’s done, only to end with a technical error.
I do not know if it’s the app problem or that the issues lie with ySense itself.
Also when you open the app, you are shown “there are no surveys now” but when you close the app and open it again, you will be able to see surveys.
For some surveys you get disqualified immediately but there are also some which you have to attempt for awhile before you realise that you are disqualified or that there is an error.
The surveys I have seen so far on this app are long and does not pay well. Most of them are around 10 minutes with only $0.13 payout. Sometimes I do see some which are higher paid, but either I did not qualify or I had the technical error once I completed them.
Also tried to contact their support through the app but I could only talk to a bot, so I gave up. π€¨
I have only tried this for a few days but frankly so far, I am perplexed and planning to give up on the app soon. Other than the profiler, I have only received payment for 1 survey so my current balance is $0.58. Therefore, I have yet to receive the supposedly $2 for joining with a referral and I won’t be able to cash out since the minimum amount to cash out for PayPal is $10.
However, to be fair, I tried out the website just to see if it’s worth the hype as mentioned by some other reviewers.
ySense Website:
There are more surveys that you can attempt chia the website, and there are offers that you can complete too.
It has more stuff than the iOS app itself as in you can clearly see your history and you can even contact Support more easily.
However, when I tried to contact support with regards to the last missing reward where I completed the survey and did not receive anything (as that what the only one I did screengrab), I received weird and disappointing answers.
The first reply I received was “Thank you for writing in regarding the missing activity. For the purpose of verifying the ownership of the account you are inquiring about and for the security of the site, advertisers, and our valued members, we do require an account verification to occur.
As standard security protocol, our Compliance team is requesting your account to be verified by a government-issued ID.” π€¨
Joined and withdrew from a number of GPT sites so far and never had I have to verify my ID with a government-issued ID! The worse thing was this was just to enquire on my missing reward, that was at most a few dollars. I was bewildered! π Thus, I replied to them, and after which I received a reply that wasn’t answering my question at all. (They talked about disqualification at the end but mine was a technical error.) After my second reply to tell them that, I did not receive any reply anymore.
Therefore, I have deleted the app and stopped using it altogether. I only had $0.59 inside so I will take it that I wasted a bit of my time by reviewing it.
I do not want to continue earning only to find out that I will have to submit a government-issued ID just for withdrawal. If in the first place, it is a requirement just to sign up for an account, I respect that, and I would either continue signing up or drop it altogether. However, just for rectifying a missing reward that I was supposed to receive, I am not ok with sharing my ID. I can’t even see the rationale in that! π€¨
I have seen many good reviews on it which made me wonder why, but I don’t think it’s for me, so it’s really up to you to see if you want to try it out.
You can join ySense to find out yourself if you are interested. π
If not, there are other apps that I will recommend more, you can check out the Poll Pay app, Milieu app and also the AttaPoll app, which are all available on iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
Poll Pay is another surveys app, which I had reviewed and received a payout already, and it actually pays me better for the amount of time used, because at the very least I had fewer technical errors from them, the more I use. Also, most disqualifications are right from the start so I don’t waste time doing them. They have new surveys all the time so you usually won’t run out, although they might not all pay well.
It is also available on both iOS App Store and Google Play store.
If you sign up with my Poll Pay Singapore Referral Code: 2WQHDHA27Z, you can receive $0.31 to start off.
You will need to key in my referral code: 2WQHDHA27Z when you sign up.

Milieu App has fun and easy surveys which are very different your usual surveys, which I enjoyed a lot. There are also hot topics and quizzes that you can take to earn additional points, higher boosts as you earn more which add to the points you earn. The best of all is that you can redeem your points through PayNow!
Once you get a survey, it’s yours to complete so you don’t have to worry about qualifying. The only downside of this app is that you only receive 2-3 surveys every few days so you won’t constantly be able to earn points, but this also means there is no stress to complete it immediately.

AttaPoll is another surveys app that can be downloaded on iOS and I am very impressed by it till now, especially after its revamp. This is the AttaPoll Singapore Review if you are interested.

It is easy to complete like Poll Pay and there are good paying surveys too. In fact, I prefer this more than Poll Pay currently because I receive less disqualifications and I am also earning more per survey. Have a try! π
