Foodpanda $10 Referral Code/ First Time Promo Code
Last updated on 17th May 2023, Wednesday
Hey guys/ gals, 😂
I haven’t used this term gals to address anyone for a long time but as I just saw one of my guild mates, in one of the games I am playing write that, it kind of lingered in my head. 😂
Anyway, today I am sharing the referral code from Foodpanda.
This is the promo code for first time users only.
Update 17 May 2023:
Foodpanda has changed the referral reward to $5 instead of the original $10 so updating here.
You have to sign up with my Foodpanda Referral link in order to get the prevailing promotion referral reward of $5 – $10.
You can get $10 as a first time user to offset your food delivery from Foodpanda. Valid on orders of S$25 or more, and expires 31 days after it’s been claimed.
I will also receive the same amount, though I think there is a cap on the referrals you are able to earn so when you reach that cap, you no longer receive referral rewards. I did not receive any more rewards since a long time ago so I assume it is up to 5 -10 referrals maximum.
This is the same for you if you refer your friends and family.
Previously, the referral code will expire after awhile, but after the update with the new referral link, I think the referral code would not expire this time.
They also included a QR code in the invite friends page, so this is my QR code for inviting friends.
To me, QR codes are mostly redundant/ aren’t useful at all since usually, you are using your phone to navigate/ search for promo codes. 😅
You can also get your own invitation link from clicking on the user icon on the top left side of the homepage, which will open up a list of options. From there, you can see the option to invite friends.
And this is where you can get your referral code link, as well as your QR code for referring your friends.
This is how the referral works. Once you sign up for a free account with my link, a free voucher will be in your account. There is a minimum order requirement of $25 or whatever the prevailing condition is at that time. Also, the voucher expires 31 days after you sign up.
Basically, you will receive $10 when you sign up with my referral code/ link above. After which, it will appear in your account under My Vouchers.
But you don’t have to go there at all. Unless you want to make sure it’s really there.
It should be applied automatically or you can actually activate them from your cart.
In your cart page, click on: Do you have a voucher?
From there, you can key in your voucher code or activate whichever voucher you already have in your “My Vouchers” page.
So a little bit about foodpanda. Other than the usual food delivery which most of us is already using, they also have Panda mart/ shops delivery, and pandago which I have not tried yet.
Upon going into the app, you can choose which one you want to visit.
For food delivery or food self collection, you choose Food Delivery on the left.
For Shops/ Marts groceries purchases, you choose Shops/ Panda Mart on the right.
Don’t worry if you choose wrongly because you can still navigate easily inside the app itself, by tapping on the different tabs.
One of the reason I am sharing my referral code is because I tried using Grabfood yesterday and the delivery charges was outrageous. 😣
And I got reminded of why I stopped using them for a long time and prefer Foodpanda.
First of all, their delivery fees are more reasonable. Sure, some of them do increase during peak hours but I find it still acceptable.
Also they have the option of self pick up, where purchases are discounted by 15%.
Next, once they accept your order, they don’t usually cancel it. At least I have never had that issue before.
But with other food deliveries, I have gotten my order cancelled, for no reason and I wasn’t informed until I checked. There was also the problem of seeking for drivers and they couldn’t find any, so I waited just for them to search for drivers and end up after 15 mins, I gave up.
A hungry person is not a patient one. 😅
But with foodpanda, all I had to do was order, and wait for my food to come. I didn’t even have to check if my food was really coming. 😊
I also had my order come with missing items before but immediately, I contacted Foodpanda’s customer service and I was attended to and missing items cost refunded, and given a compensation voucher for next order, with no fuss. I would appreciate if they could redeliver my missing items but as it’s not a big part of my food order, I let it go.
But this quick resolution by the customer service is definitely one of the reasons I kept ordering with them.
Moreover, if you scroll through the banners on the main page, you can find discounts or free delivery merchants. Quite often, they also have promo codes which can be found either in the app, on their website, or from their emailers.
Oh! They also have this box surprise discount sometimes when you login to your app and this option for food deliveries with the listed merchants, gives you a certain discount but you have to order immediately. Once you leave the page, you kinda can’t get back in.
Last but not least, I have noticed that for most merchants (which I have ordered from) on foodpanda, the prices listed are almost similar to the actual prices in stores. At the very least, I won’t feel that I overpaid. 😂
Therefore, if you want to sign up for Foodpanda, here you go:
